I, Lia Santiago the creator am Puerto Rican. In Puerto Rico our main language is Spanish and I wanted to incorporate part of my identity into my art. Amado is a Spanish word that translates to, in the present tense, the state of being "loved" and "loved" as past tense love. I thought this name would be more than appropriate taking into consideration that in ShopAmado we take sample pieces and second-hand pieces that were once loved and repurpose them so they can be loved again.
